Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

She looks nice, all of mine are really small, I've seen OEGB that are bigger than mine.

The hatchery birds are usually large. Most birds I've seen at shows were not standard weight. No way. I like smaller, solid birds. Birds that don't look big, but surprise you when you put them on the scale. This little pullet is 11 oz at 7-8 months old.

My birds are exactly like that, they look so small but you grab them and can barely feel they're beat bone. I'm hoping to get more color next spring

I'm Not Sure, can you list some? Maybe I'll choose from there

My suggestion would be to start out simple.

Blacks would give you blues. Black breasted reds would give you blue reds. Essentially any bird that has black on it, crossed with Splash, will give you birds where the black is replaced by blue.

I'm very hesitant to buy birds from someone who has so many different varieties. It's hard to know which is what, if that makes sense.

That being said, I don't know this guy or his birds, and they may be exceptional. Just be careful buying birds sight unseen.

I agree, but there are some exceptions
