We have about 7 OEGBs, but these are the most photogenic ones:

The rooster is Napoleon, and the hen is Leera.

You can tell that they are nice birds though. Are all of your OEGB the same color? I had a trio that looked a lot like yours but now I only have one hen, and she is in with my Blue Wheaton rooster. Should be interesting what I get from the cross.

Thanks! Yes, we have a breeding flock of 4 hens and 1 rooster that are Silver Duckwing OEGBs. Leera and Napoleon are just friends, though. We don't use them for breeding, unless we want more OEGB chicks. That cross should be cool! Post some pics!

Here are my oegb's the first rooster is 1/4 Dutch his name is Joe Peschi he is awesome calls his ladies whenever food sources are found he is friendly as ever he killed a rat that was in the pen and it was bigger than he was! He was twittering at me to let me know there was an intruder in the chicken pen. I was told he is a brown red? The hens I think are rose combs but not sure of that either I was told the color of my little pullet is quail. She is also very sweet of all my chickens my oegb's are my favorite.

Hi, all! I was just told what to call my little LG. A man just told me that I "have a purty lil Lemon/Blue" right there. So....I assume that LG (Lil Guy) is a Lemon Blue OEGB. Please, correct me if we're wrong.



Obviously, LG is the lil Roo guy. My phone is not of high quality when in camera mode, but the faded neck and saddle feathers are actually blonde like a California towhead. (I know as I once was one.)
