They are great free rangers. They tend to be pretty indpedent and pair up with a buddy in my experience. They are much to small to brood ducks and geese, they would be bigger than them with they hatch. They come in a ton of colors- silver duckwing, crele, black, blue, splash, and many others. Type it on google and anwsers should come up pretty easilyI'm getting a hen of this breed and I am very excited
Just a few questiones :
Are they good free rangers ?
Do they stay with there flocks ?
Do they brood other eggs ( such as ducks and geese) well ?
What colors do they come in ?
I bred my wheaten rooster with my black hen and had 3 chicks, they were all roosters all the same color, they are almost solid black with gold ends on their hackles and saddles. Like a brassy back but less goldWhat would happen if I mixed wheaten and black OEGBs? What would the babies look like?
I think your best bet is the spangled roo with the red blue hen. Or the same hen with the self blue rooOk so I have a spangled, blue, silver duckwing and self blue Roos and I was wondering if a blue red hen and red Pyle hen could go with one of the Roos and get show quality offspring thanks
