I've seen birchens with a little more gold than silver, brown reds aren't really black bodied, more brown lol

its harder with seeing a bird... do you have pics?

birchen hens are usually silver grey with a light gold neck pattern

My brown red stage left from my spangled Cornish Snicklefritz.
We had and accident with the heat lamp this winter and some of my birds like my brown red got a lil close a singed some chest feathers. I HOPE for full recovery in time for the Kentucky St. Fair.
