Any thoughts on what breed bantam he is?

Don't know what he is but I love his color. If you told me he had Jungle Fowl or Japanese in him I would believe you. That's a really pretty rooster.

Large fowl? They're tiny! The birdin the pic with the two is a 10 lbs poult. No way they're going to be regular sized birds. I have a sebright bantam n he's a tiny guy like these two hopefully girls are. Also. I read some where that makes and females and the same feathering and plumage??

Oh, no! I wasn't saying yours are large fowl, just that I think spurs on hens happens more often with them than bantams... or maybe it's the other way around, lol... anyways, to distinguish whether a person is talking about a bantam variety or the larger, standard sized chicken they use the LF abbreviation...
As to what you are asking, I hope I am answering that question as I couldn't quite understand it... 'hen feathering' means 2 slightly different things depending on what breeds/types you are talking about... in a lot of Old English Game Bantam breeds males and females have a specific color type but the males have a different look than the females... but all the males will look alike just as all the females look alike...

These are Silver Duckwing OEGB's, 1 male and 2 females... they are the same color patterns but note how the 2 females share same pattern and coloration but the male has a different pattern and coloration... and you should notice that your 2 pullets have the same type of pattern as thes 2 females, just different colors...

Sebrights are a different breed, and the males of those are considered 'hen feathered' as both the males and females have the same colors and patterns and the males do not get the regular hackle and saddle feathers as other breeds... they look just like the girls, except usually their combs are larger and they crow and don't lay eggs... Sebrights take much longer to be able to sex because of this, but a lot OEGB's you can sex just from the pattern of their feathers and colors...

I thought all bantams did. Good to know thanks. I found OEGB thru google trying to find what breed they were bcz out feed store didn't know what they were selling part from being bantams.

Sorry, just saw your post! Glad I was able to answer you, I was running on no sleep too, lol.

Most feed stores/employees don't know about the breeds they get. Usually they have a standing order with a hatchery and the hatchery sends them whatever they have at that time. Bantams always seem to be just thrown in a mix, lol.
I'm still fairly new with the OEGB's but I've been doing tons of research and got really lucky on my stock. I'm gonna post pics soon, now that I've got most of them separated and set up.
If you get some pics of your pullets in natural light, we might be able to tell you what type/colors you have.
And please feel free to ask any more questions you might come up with. I do respond to PM's as well.

Sorry, on my phone and it took me a bit to find the pic of him not behind the hen, lol... he's the off type Silver Duckwing, so I'd say that chick will be similar... and probably a pullet... I believe in pairings of different types the father throws his color to his daughters and the mother throws her color to her sons... I could be wrong tho...

But it looks like a SDW chick anyways... or mostly, I can't tell with the legs... are they white/light or dark?

Two Lemon Blue hens brooding in the same nest box. They've got about 10 eggs between them. Should be hatching off any day now.
