Show off your Peas!

Dang must be really really low for it not to show! I remember the man I bought my three makes from said he would get 2 or 3 different colored peacocks put off every clutch he raised. I'll try to get a better picture!

I drove by a small farmhouse the other day and saw 3 free ranging IB boys standing amongst a yard littered with train feathers!! Lol! Not so worried about if my boy lost too early now..

Before the rains I managed to collect most of the large ones.

Ok thank uou.Any one have a clue on species?

It looks like an Indian Blue. I think I see some white feathers within the wing and the lower part of the breast. It might have some White peafowl genes with it. Do you have more photos that show other areas of the body? Including the peachick's wing? It's a Indian Blue but I'm seeing white feathers and I'm thinking it could be a split to White or Pied depending on how much white that peachick has.

I was thinking Midnight since I've seen pics of Midnights that look similar to the male. Didn't notice the crest though. There is the possibility of another bird eating his crest feathers though. It must have a very low Spalding if it's an just a regular Spalding Black Shoulder.

The peafowl came from a farm with 4 different species all kept in separate pens however the eggs were not marked. Thhey had white, blue necks, green necks, and cameos. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!!!
