I am absolutely in love with this breed. I got 4 rsl from tsc just to fill the minimum 6 chicks. They have turned out to be the sweetest little chicks out of 10. I will definitely be getting more when I get more room.

Are gold and red sex links the same?

I'm thinking it's who you talk to. I think they are the same except for the color. The gold is a lighter..and some call them cinnamon queens. The reds are quite red, like the ones you are seeing on this thread.

Very stunning..and, 2yrs. old and still laying? Were they hatched from someone that had eggs for you? From a nice flock they had had for years..so more or less, a heratige flock of Sexlinks? I have heard that hatchery sexlinks don't lay as long, but I'm beginning to wonder about that. Would be good to hear where you got yours...feed store? Shipped eggs? Thanks.
