i have four of them. my are only noisy when im around there coop, feeding watering, ect. the rest of the time they are fairly quite.

Here's a photo I just took of Angel, she kept flying up to the top of the brooder box (a re-purposed dog kennel) since I had the wire mesh top pulled back, then she would jump right on my hand when I put it near her. She's so sweet.

here is a pic of the four i have. first pic is of them 3/24/12. the day i got them. the next ones are of them now.

They're so pretty! It's hard to believe they turn out so red... my chick's wings are so white right now, but I am starting to see darker feathers coming in.

lol... that's something to look forward to! How do you get all the feathers out of the coop when they molt? Vacuum cleaner? lol.

Oh no, are you getting moulting chickens? I've been worried about it. It's about that time I guess. They have been laying so well, I worry about losing my nice egg count. Most will slow down, and also, just quit right out until they are done molting. Remember, lots of protien while they do. Cooked egg..the best, also, give them BOSS..Black Oil Sunflower Seeds. Great for moulting chickens.

mine stopped for 2 months.but they have been back in full force for a month now. they need the down time. or they will stop laying at a younger age.
