These are my new Red Sex Link chickies at 2 weeks old ... I am suspecting "Edith" is in fact an "Eddie" due to early tail feathers and it didn't have distinct stripe/s like the other two, just slightly darker down feathers on the back. Lucy had two distinct dark stripes down her back and you can see Margot's prominent dark stripe, though she has a pale head. Can't wait to see them grown

Don't be surprised if Edith is an Edith. More often the girls get their tail feathers earlier than the males do.
These are some Rhode Island Reds and Red Sex-Links. The white colored chicks are the RSL males.

I think I have some red sex link chicks! We won't talk about Tractor supply staff knowledge lol I knew that going in so stuck to the pullet bin and figured my chances were less than the other bins at actually getting pullets!
Few weeks ago I picked 4 lil fluffy light red/orangeish red girls (unknown breed by staff or I), 2 deep red girls (bin said RIR but I'm not sure) and 2 black chipmunk striped (unknown lol).

Today those 4 lil girls (3 pictured)I think are sex links, follow me around cheeping still lol love them so sweet! The other 3 are crazy birds lol

Being red sex links aren't they all pullets? I have one with same feather coloring but the comb is quite a bit more pronounced than the other 3.
