i have actually been lucky so far, I have only had 2 broody in 3 years. 1 was a Cochin, and 1 was a RSL. I didnt let either sit. he trys though....

I have found, that out of all of my chickens, the Red Sex Link, my leghorns, and my Australorps have been the friendliest. I have different breeds out there, but they my Reba..red sex link, comes up to me right of the bat every day.

I have six Red Sex Links. Got them less than a week ago and they're my very first chickens. Do they tend to be more friendly if they're handled a lot as chicks?

definitely!!! handle them as much as you can as soon as you can. The more the better. I find the more interaction I have wtih them, the more relaxed they are with me. My rooster rides on my shoulder, can go out in public with me (Petsmart and to educate people)
