here's 2 more pics. I am exhausted - stupid me forgot to cover a small part of their quarantine area and they both got out, the darker one was easy to catch however the lighter one I spent 35 mins chasing around a work van & an envoy parked in the garage ..... wow that was a hell of a workout LOL

Most of the time I can pick up my birds but there are occasions when they don't want to be picked up but I want to for whatever reason. I have a long handle fish net I use if I have to.

Whoa, I'm lucky I don't have to do that. We tamed ours from day 1 (as day-olds) and they're pretty good still.

Yeah I might have to invest in one if they don't get relatively tame. My BR's I have had since day 1 and they are fine, these ones are still trying to figure out where the hell they are lol Understandable that they are skittish, I doubt they hardly got handled at all. Time and patience is all they need & some treats LOL

This is Star, I got her at a local feed store that got her from Mt. Healthy Hatchery....she was labeled as a Red Cross (RIR x Columbian white) which from my understanding is a RSL. Well I have been looking at all of the RSL pictures on here and all have got white on them and Star doesn't have any white on her at all and she has this weird tail feather thing going on like a roosters tail feathers do. So my question is, is Star a RSL hen if not any guesses on what she is if she really is a hen. Oh and she is 15 wks old. Thanks for the help in advance!
