Show off your Red sex-links!! [[pictures included]] !! (:

Thanks! I just started looking into breeding this week and I'm so confused!!!
Hey i wish you luck on ya breeding and cmom would be a great knowledge of information for ya if you ask her I bet she will tell you on the confusing part dont feel alone ,its confusing enough breeding any breed if fowl i haven't done it in 25years abd sexlinks were a rare thing ,now it even harder than it was back then there many more different breeds of fowl and my husband and I decided to get in the chick fowl again lol its not for the mild hearted when breeding you have to cull the not so right ones and dont breed them because once you get a not so right gene in ya birds it is almost impossible to breed this out but dont fret they may be a breeder out looking for what you dont want tgis person may just need what you have, good luck wush me luck like i said after 25years im starting all over again like new in it.

Rose (RSL) and Chica (EE) enjoying their new run.

This is Emma, one of my 6 RSL chicks at about 4 weeks. All of mine, both RSL and Columbian Rock X, are super cuddly. I handled them a lot as they have been growing up, wanting them to be friendly, but may have overdone it.

Now they want to be held or climbing up on me all the time when I am out with them.

yep i understand what you going thru i have some RIRs chicks that turned 4 weeks old Tuesday i talked to them and handled them daily now i cannot clean out thete pen without them climbing on my hands and arms wanting attentions from me Lol but ilove it

Originally, I thought that a lap chicken would be fun. I've learned that there's nothing like a big dirty bird inviting herself to your outdoor dinner event by hopping onto your picnic table and eyeballing your guests. Not cool, chicken, not cool. Give me semi flighty any day.

Golden comet (wants to drink my rosé) is 16 weeks on Monday. In your experience, does a comb colored up like this mean she'll lay soon? She mutters to herself but no egg song yet. Should I clear out the nest box?

Hello all. Just wondering, I don't have any nesting boxes in the coop right now. My girls are only 11 weeks old. Should I put nesting boxes in now or wait?
