He is my project bird

He is a Lemon Laced Cuckoo Brahma cross ( So I call them Laced Lahman's)

It's not even a year after I started my first flock of chickens, and suddenly I've found myself with a roo. I was in denial at first because I promised that I'd never keep a rooster, but this little EE guy is already so pretty that I don't want to give him up unless the neighbors complain or I can't get any sleep. We'll see. I live in an urban environment by some train tracks and the Port of Los Angeles and I got used to sleeping through the train and truckers and containers dropping so ...

His name is currently Oreo which was changed from Brown Butter after he stopped being brown. He's 11 weeks.

With all my roosters and everyone else's roosters around me, I have to stop and listen for them now. And there's quite a few roosters where I am. If I stop and listen, I can hear them from what sounds like a ways away into the woods.
