Yes, it is very normal it's the the roosters way of say,"Hey girls come lay eggs here".

Well Snowflake showed her (now confirmed as a "him") true colors this past week. I've been getting suspicious of him being a Roo by the way he started to look and act lately. When he started crowing it was confirmed. He was supposed to be a pullet when I got him last fall but when he started crowing it was confirmed.

So now I have two Roos and five hens, so far they're all getting along good. I'm keeping a close eye to make sure they stay that way. It'll be a sad day if I have to choose between my Roos.
