A red/gold-base colored would produce the most variety. Buffs can contribute some interesting things. He's only got one barring gene, so about half the chicks will be barred. He's got one gene for feathered legs, so again, about half will have feathering on the legs.

I vote for a black Ameraucana hen. I think you would possibly end up with a few cuckoo, muffed, feather-legged chickens that would lay blue/green eggs. I think
