You should definitely get them! They are beautiful, they lay lots of eggs, and they are very friendly! I have three 5 year old Buff Orpingtons. Two of them lay about 5 eggs per week, and the other lays about 3 per month. They are truly wonderful birds that I highly recommend!

We just hatched some Delawares crossed with the Legbar cross rooster above.. they are 6 days old right now all have gold and black fuzz right now. cant wait to see what they turn out like

This is my roo "Stan" he is an ugly cuss. No idea of his breeding he's a mix of two mutts we had last summer. He does a good job taking care of his ladies though.
