Not a great picture (YOU try to get four roosters to stand still long enough for a camera phone to take a shot!) but it does show four of the six bachelors out on a foraging expedition. That's the bottom half of the playhouse coop they're inspecting for goodies...

OOPS! Forgot to add that they're Nankin Bantams, critically endangered and as sweet as can be. They were hatched in May of 2017, so they're coming up on two years.

"The Accidental Rooster" It sounds like a great movie title! I have one of those, too. Herman the House Rooster started out as "Irma," after the storm he hatched during. (S)he already answered to Irma when (s)he started crowing, so we found something that sounded close enough for him to recognize. So Herman knows his name ... he just has no clue that he is a chicken.
