Boy, ain't that the truth?! You'll notice she has them on grass. As long as it's dry here, mine stay nice and clean by dust bathing, but when it rains.....OY! I have one SG in the brooder right now with 6 Silkies, and he/she too, rules the brooder!WOW, jlynn! Those are beautiful birds! How in the world do they stay so clean??? Mine find every way possible to drag some dirt over their feet and into their "headdresses"!
I am so super excited! My very first hatch from my own SG's! A teeny black chick hatched out yesterday. I will get pix as soon as s/he is out of the 'bator. Kinda cute...I had 2 SG eggs in with a bunch of guineas, so this little one sure looks funny next to those keets. Of course, s/he is already bossing them around and they aren't even 12 hours old yet....Still waiting on that second SG and 2 more guinea eggs to hatch...![]()

Oooo la la! My girl is going to be white, so I'm told..I hope she looks this nice. Waiting...!So pretty! I just love how elegant they look!! I can see a lot more of these in my future!!![]()
