I wasn't saying there aren't reds, just that none of mine are.I actually have a partridge who has a lot of color that could only be called red It is brighter than buff and completely different in color. I will try to take a pic over the weekend. If I can get the right lighting. Really was surprising but the older she gets the more redder she gets. I have a roo that carries the autosomial gene red which I suspect it came from.
They look so cute running across the yardI wasn't saying there aren't reds, just that none of mine are.This picture where they're all running towards me shows the colors better, the sun really tweeked the colors in the second picture. (L-R) white, partridge, buff, blue, white, black. The black still looks a little weird but not as different as the other picture.

I'm guessing it will look like a small turken. Most silkie genes ( toes feathers black skin etc) are ressessive or at leat need to be reinforced to show.
