I'm hoping that someone can tell me the color of this Showgirl chick from our first hatch. I had originally thought a possible Lavender from looking at photos but am now thinking Splash since the feathers are coming in. Anyone?

I had the eggs (an assortment of silkies & showgirls) shipped in from out of state, so have no way of knowing for certain.

I agree probably a Splash but could be a light Blue also, I don't think it is a Lav.
It's a sweetie though!

Lav is very unusual to get from any mixed pen as you need the genes reinforced from both parents. Id guess splash or light blue with leakage.

So excited! Its finally warming up here in Michigan. Can't wait till all the birds a laying, so I can get started with egg sales and chick hatching. I cleaned out my outdoor pens and just waiting for a spring that rain to spruce up the lawn. Then out side they will go..
