Hey...I'm not for sure yet as it's still not dry & fluffy...but I really think that....

I JUST HATCHED MY FIRST LAV SHOWGIRL!!!!!!!!!

It just has to be!!!!

I also got a black with the biggest feet I've ever seen on a chick!!

I'll let ya'll know for sure in the morning...more pips..maybe there's more!!!

Well as of 5am, it's still those 2. It looks like the one is a lav, but the topknot looks just a little darker...so possibly grey ya think??

Will have to wait till it fuzzes up a bit more. The little black SG is twice the size.. DH can't believe it came out of a little bantam sized egg....he measured it's foot...it's right at 3/4 of an inch long

Now I'm beginning to worry that the other chicks are large & may not be able to hatch. Today is day 21 so I'll wait a little longer before I really panic! Double checked my temp log & temps/humidity were spot on perfect all the way. Ah, incubating...perfect hatches for awhile...then ya get a curve ball to let you know that you ARE NOT Mother Nature!!

Rilly, I am going to have to buy a new camera! I just can't get this laptop to accept the program for the camera I have now. Between work & work commute, chickens, family...I'll get one as quick as I can!

I emailed her to let her know the eggs were hatching. It's dark colored so I'm betting its a partridge.
