Showgirl thread- for posting pictures and discussing breed!

Some people thing different is ugly. I had a Chinese Hairless dog once and people told me he was ugly, but according to his breed standard, he was beautiful. I had never seen Showgirls before hearing about them today. I think they are cute and intriguing. Maybe some people have no imagination. LOL

Hey, howfunkyisyourchicken if you use Facebook check my page out. Chirpintyme Poultry. I sell showgirl chicks and eggs all the time. I get blues blacks patridge and whites I'm located in ga south of atlanta about an hour or so. Mine don't have beards but do have bowties. I'm currently selling 12 chicks to a lady. Later this year I should have splash and paint showgirls.

Are you NPIP and can you ship? I tried to look up your FB page (several times) and it keeps telling me it can't find you :/

This is our showgirl Silkie, Princess. As you can see, she's a very sweet and patient creature

Hey guys, I have just recently (within the last year or so) started breeding showgirls, but I've been thinking of adding frizzles to the mix, I just think that a frizzled showgirl would be adorable, what do you guys think? I currently have a white bowtie showgirl roo, a blue hatchery stock (the non, crested, non bearded kind) who throws black and blue coloring with very dark skin, a paint silkie rooster (show quality stock), a grey silkie hen (purchased as chick with roo), a paint silkie hen (wonderful crest, but only about four black feather spots, also purchased as a chick with her paint rooster brother and my grey hen) and a golden partridge showgirl/bantam who stole my heart...I just recently was given frizzle chicks as well, What do you guys think about the frizzled showgirls? The attached picture isn't mine, but an example of what I'm hoping to achieve...

@Jeansrie My babies had babies! 3 splash SGs and 2 blue silkies  I love them :)

Oh they are double cute! :love I just got my first Showgirl chick the other day! It was a surprise. My rooster is young and newish to the pen and I literally only gave my broody one egg to hatch (since I have 4 of them, 3 ended up with 1 egg each and 1 somehow ended up with 2 :p ). I'll have to post a pic of my little chick, it looks just like its daddy!
