4 pips on the silkie eggs the showgirl eggs nothing. I did however run face first into the door frame at 3am checking on the bator in the dark and ended up with a busted lip. Note to self "do not try to check on the bator in the dark while your blood pressure is low".

I am so tempted to open the bator and candle to see if there is still movement.

You can check to see if they internally pipped and open a tiny airhole if they have. If the babies are as highly vaulted as Edward, they might have a wee more difficulty hatching than others.

Ok so the small egg I saw movement in yesterday at lockdown does have a very small pip. Yay. Typically here if it pips it hatches. The other larger egg is moving. Still nothing from the one egg yet but not giving up. Several silkies are pipped.

If they're still pipping sounds like you might be good to go. I'll keep my fingers crossed, Tisha! I want to see those babies, SG or not!

Oh My goodness! Right now it appears the 2 small eggs are 2 splash showgirls not vaulted but really long fluff and 10 toes each. The larger egg appears to be a splash with a small vault but not all the way out yet. Yay! I am so happy. I will get pics as soon as they are dry. Leaving them in the bator till tomorrow.

After having dealt with wry neck 2 times now I am not so sure big vaults are in the best intrest of the chicks or myself. I like nice crest but not huge vaults. I have one little 2 mth old right now with wry neck and it is so hard watching them go through it.

The fluff on the 2 showgirls out is very long though so I do expect them to be very fluffy chicks either way.
