. I have 2 SG roo's and they aren't the prettiest but they make pretty chickies just like the good looking SG hens do.

I LOVE him! He is awesome! Cuckoo showgirls are the coolest!

When I left for work this AM I had 3 showgirl chicks, and 2 silkies out of their eggs! One SG had not absorbed all of it's egg sac though so I hope it is ok! They were all wet still so not sure on colors yet. Dad was my Lav SG roo and possible moms were black lav splits or splash split to lav (no longer in this pen, I thought she was pure lav).

Very nice mountaintop! I love that buff! Bren in TX had gorgeous buff showgirls. I would contact her. I know she sold a lot of her buff silkies, but even if she no longer has buff showgirls, I am sure she could point you in the right direction! If you google Bren's Birds of Paradise her website will come up.

Hey rilly10,

My hatch is going great. My first time incubating and already have 5 SG chicks out of 8 eggs. Some are still rocking. These are bow ties and are
bearded.I do have one non-bearded egg in this batch and it's moving like crazy so hope it's next. All have good toes spacing and foot feathering very fluffy....Yea!!!! Good luck on your hatch.

Not yet, just getting started, hopefully in the spring.
