most people think they are sooo ugly their adorable. i think they are just cute either way. in the spring i have to drive 6 hours to pick up more... i cant wait, i dont like the breeder too much but shes the closest to me

i know how that is there isnt many showgirl or silkie breeder in my area ans ivre had deal with ones i realy dont like

i would have gotten 8 more last month she saved some for me cause they were coming up closer to my area for a show, then i called her back 4 days later to talk about colors and her husband told me they drove down to ioha and sold all my birds at a swap! i was sooo mad cause we were planning this for like 3 weeks and they didnt even bother to call me about their change of plans so now i have to wait tell spring, and he was pretty rude on phone about it. she doesnt even know what color her birds are! she told me they had no white blue or black, i got white and blue

ya i know this summer we picked up the 2 blue showgirls i posted a while ago from her she lives in the middle of town, had about 80 chicks no adults cause they lived on a farm they lease 15 miles away. shes doesnt keep track of wat generation she has i asked and she gave me a funny look and said shes been breeding them for 5 years, apparently she buys a new rooster from hattrick every 2 years and sells the old one at swaps. she said breeding them to white and blue will be disasterous and when i said i had blue and white roosters she got all exited saying that would be a perfect match. but i dont want to pay for shipping and i dont have incubator yet for eggs

see that was one of the things i found online to ask the breeder and i kind of wanted to know. i wish i still had all the chicks i baught from her, stupid dog....we had to put dog down a week later due to cushings desiease in her brain affecting her personality.

2 whites 2 buffish colors and 2 "lavenders" that are blues

to me if that only imprtant inther begining when its project from turken to silkies but when u get in to f15 or f 20 its kinda redundent
