Showgirl with a bad spider bite!!! *Graffic Pics***

Are you sure it's from a spider bite and not a wound that is infected?

I first would try trimming more feathers away from the wound/swelling so you can see it more clearly. Then try to clean it and post more photos.
I'm assuming the yellow is ointment? If that is discharge, then you have infection, but it would be hard to know what to use. What do you have on hand?
The problem is I'm just going by what I was told happened. She assumed a spider bite so that's what I assumed. You know what though, I do remember she said she was putting honey on it, so that might be what's making it look like sticky discharge. I forgot she said that she had been putting that on the swelling.

LOL I would try to rinse that off so you can tell more about it. Raw honey is used on wounds, so no harm there.

LOL no I knew that, It's just funny because I forgot she said she had put honey on her and for some reason I was being squeamish about it, and I don't know why. This stuff doesn't usually bother me.

@casportpony I should start tube feeding

I should also start to tube feed in the morning as well? She isn't mobile, if food is put in front of her she will try to eat it but it's not going to be enough. At this point she isn't able to stand.
Is she drinking? If not, tube fluids first, wait 60-90 minutes and tube more fluids. Do this before tubing any food. Would be ideal if you could tube fluids tonight, clean the wound tomorrow morning, then tube when done. Tubing should always be the last procedure to reduce risk of vomiting.
