Showgirls thread

    It is funny my old showgirl is the meanest chicken to my new show girl. Has anyone ever expieranced this?

    Does anyone have a showgirl with a non walnut comb?

    Question. I have three showgirl 4 wk old chicks. 2 have one kind of comb, 1 has another. But I do not know which would indicate female or male, any help is appreciated:)

    This is the one that is different. It is narrower, but has little bumps.

    The other two have this type. Smoother, but much wider, and one seems (possibly) pink, it might be in my head lol

    So do you think the wider flat ones are girls or boys? Which gender do I have two of?
     
  5. i dont really like show girls because they look kreepy to me but i do have some chickens[​IMG]they are two barred rocks and two astralorps[​IMG]

    i would say the wider combs are boys

    Looking for showgirls to show in 4-H. Is it to late to start looking? They have to be from this years hatch.

    in minnesota i bet the chickens just started laying unless you are ordirng for someone somewhere else, but you do realized they aren't a recognised breed
