It's a 4X6 Amish coop. It's completely draft free and has electricity so the 3 heat lamps keep it toasty warm. They are just 2 weeks old now and are doing really well. I have a 10X10 kennel attached to this coop and when it warms up outside and they get a little older I'll open the hen door. I have a much bigger coop that I'm hoping they'll eventually want to roost in once they get to know my other flock.Awwwwwww...........they're so cute. I was wondering what size and brand your chicken coop is because it looks VERY similar to mine. Mine is 4x6 with a 7.5 x 7.5 run. Did I mention, YOUR CHICKS ARE SO CUTE?!!?
How old were your chicks when you moved them into the coop?
She's a barred rockThe pic with the black chick on the rim of the bucket, what breed is that? I have one that looks just like her.
If your talking about the little girl in the 9th pic, she's an Easter Egger. I got her at the local feed store and I think she's the cutest of the whole bunchaww...pardon my newbie-ness but what are the little reddish brown chicks? They look like they are going to be pretty!
You hve the same coop as me. Just that I don't have electricity in mine. I don't really need a bigger coop because I only need to house 5 chickens, 2 call ducks, and 2 silkies. Do you think they have enough room? They will probably get free range, too. It's a 4X6 Amish coop. It's completely draft free and has electricity so the 3 heat lamps keep it toasty warm.
