Hello, what age do you show chickens at a livestock show?? I have chickens that will be approximately 5 months at the time of show. Will I be able to show those or need to get new ones?? Thanks!

Generally county fairs are split into five groups. Cock "male over 1 yr old", Hen "female over 1 yr old", Cockerel "male under 1 yr old", Pullet "female under 1 yr old", and Meat "Cornish crosses" class. Sometime the bantams are split from the large breeds but not always. Depending on age "at the time of the show" and sex they'd fall into one of the first four classes.

I tried to look up some ino for you but didn't find much.
I did look through the results for last years show and noticed they only had BROILERS listed.

Maybe you could shoot them an email??
