Shrill shrieking guineas

Our guineas seem to have a routine when they are free ranging. I'll hear the adults near the house and they start yelling as if to say "Front yard, Front yard, Front yard". The youngsters are too busy to notice. Suddenly they realize the adults are no longer in sight nor can they hear them so they start yelling as if to say " Where you?, Where you?, Where you?". So we herd the adult to the back yard and when the youngster see them all is quiet. Till the next time......

Are they in a coop? Are they new to your property? if so then that is probably why they are hollering because they dont know where they are. They will eventually get used to their new home and calm down a bit. Hope this helps:)
