my chick has peep inside since last night. I just candled and realized that the air hole was way too big. I suspect I need to help her.

Chick has pipped a large hole through the shell. I think it will soon hatch.

The chick hatch but he still has Yoke, about a quarter size. It is attached to the egg as it is sleeping with the egg on its bum. I wonder if he broke the yoke. there is some yellow fluid. (Not very much). The Yoke still has some veins.

How should I care for it? It is sleeping on its stomach, in the yellow fluid. I don't think it will dry too quick and the yellow liquid will dry quick enough. I do wonder about infection.

It seems strong and stable.

The was trying to stand up and steps on the yoke. It is now about a nickel size. Can a chick accidentally pull out his inners?

It is dry but seems wet.

I personally would separate it in the incubator from any other hatching chicks. Let it rest and give it time. To post a picture click on the little mountain looking thing next to the @ symbol
