Yes...you should have learned with the first hatch how needy this thread can be!!! It soooo hard when it is all new to you and have no clue what is normal and when they need help!!! All you want is healthy hatchlings:love

Well try to wait one day after there due date, then make your safe hole...

Good lord you guys left me with a lot of posts to read..

Where are they supposed to be?

I'm so glad you asked, lol safe holes should be on top of the shell at the large end, you want them to aim up, not to the side, to the side you basically made it to easy to for them and they do less work. Now they can just sit there and do nothing because they have there oxygen no work needed.

Sort of speaking...

If it was at the top, then they are basically forced to push themselves up to the safe hole for air...

But I can't remember if I ever explained that so it's ok.

Let's see if she FINALLY took care of that thumb nail, I mean really she had time to do it....
ALHmama...do your nails tonight...it will keep your mind of the eggs and you can't touch anything with wet nails....LOL

And that's what we need these lazy guys to do, is to work for air, not be lazy. Plus it's extremely risky to hit the sides, you could actually accidently go to far in and hit a vein., good thing you were careful..

Shoot. So I just decreased the likelihood that they'll come out on their own?
