Shrink wrapped ducks?? What should I do?

It's a safety precaution, will give them 24 hours hopefully they will make progress but it seems to me we may have another sticky situation not as bad as the first batch though..

I just peeked in the window with the flashlight into one baby's peep hole and I see a good bit feathers in there like it's pulled some membrane away.. Is that a good sign?! The others, I still just see beak..

First you need to calm down, we have 24 hours, from the looks of those pics it does seem like there's some gooy stuff at the bottom of those shells.. Not much but definitely some.. How's the temp??

I'm trying to chill... But holy crap my stomach is in knots!!

If it were me I would probably break the shell a little and look for veins, but I have NO patience when they slow down like that.  I have lost too many by waiting, but I have lost a couple from breaking veins, so I have learned to really look for them.  Good luck to you and I'm sure Dr. L has much more experience than I!   

And apparently that's what costs loses I'm afraid to say, today is day 36. So my rule of thumb is to give them 24 hours after the safe hole if still no progress, then it's time to intervene.

Lol well last yr we didnt go on vacation so this yr is exciting...we are up in the catskills in A private cabin right on the lake with two kayaks and we can bring our dog... Leaving tommorow morning!

One day before they are ready to make there cracks they totally stop moving, why because this is there day of rest, how dare you take a vote and not give them there day of rest!!
