That's basically where it is though?? In the center of the air cell? The tip top of the big end of the egg had duck body in the way....
Tomorrow is hatching day...Hopefully those babies will rest up and do the work!!!!Hoorayyyyyy.... Lol!
Maybe my air cells are just wonky.. Lol. The seemed to shift down the side of the egg more during lockdown

Yes...I see it!!! So from that point 24hrs their air is OK? And if they are hatching correctly, the duckling should make its own hole on the top?If you look the egg has three different colors, well four but we are going to ignore the yellow stain on the outside. But inside the egg there's three different colors, the dark mass, the darker coloring more like a off white, then on the top a clear white color..
Can you see it??

So hours to days to actually cut through the outer shell and come out of the egg?Correct doesn't mean they will be out, it could take them hours even days to come completely out.. But they need to make that hole within 24 hours of shadowing, But at the shadowing stage it's very stressful for them, this is when they have to get those lungs moving correctly, heart rate goes up, it's a very stressful stage at this time.
