Okay...definitely worried cuz they list it on the direction sheet they give us as part of the process, just like turning the eggs...why would they say that and does it matter what type of duck egg it is? They only give the dipping instruction part with the ducks..not chicks or quails. Confused????Dipping, dipping is when the air cell falls to one side.
What you have described is what some have done called the float test. This is usually done to see if the embryo is still alive.
I have never heard of doing this during the hatching process..

Oh no...not leaving them in the water...just quickly dipping them and then placing them back in the batorPutting them in water for 24 hours omg I would say good chance, they haven't even developed the use of there lungs yet?? And there's pores around that shell i would think that water is going to get into that shell..
