Shrink wrapped ducks?? What should I do?

Wow, I know you're getting anxious! I have a couple dozen pea eggs in the bator right now. I have better luck with the calls than the peas! Learning is a painful process, but it is so worth it to see their sweet little faces. Keeping my fingers crossed here! <3

Ok... Still breathing. No peeping and no shell tapping
Good morning! Checking in...still breathing is good!! And remember Dr. L said they rest a bit before the hatch so don't panic yet

The inside of the shell got dark??
Sorry..fell asleep...back to work today, but only half day teaching for summer school. The shell itself started to look dark or discolored...and yes I am lucky they didn't explode....but I also wanted to make sure not to remove them to early if they were delayed for some reason. Had I known about this forum at that time, definitely woulda got some help

OK when an egg discolors like that, two things could be the problem, One the embryo is dead, which usually builds up gases, you'll know by simply smelling the egg. Then BOOM they explode.

Or two To much water inside the shell, they can't absorb it all and are just floating or rather swimming in that shell. Usually if kept to long they don't make it.
