easiest way to tell drake from hen is by quack.. Drakes have a soft raspy quack while females have a loud stereotypical duck quack.. When they are older males get a curl on their tales while females stay straight.

I honestly cannot for the life of me tell these last 4 apart! They look 100% identical! Any ideas? Im going to have to guess at this point as it is, I believe! I didn't have that problem with the first batch due to them coming serveral hours apart and looking somewhat different.. but these last 4 (especially the first 3) came boom boom boom, and they all look exactly alike! struggler looks like the other 3 too, but shes still not as fluffy.. so for now I can tell which one she is!

How soon can I tell if these are boys/girls? I noticed today that a few from the first hatch still have a scab on them...is that normal? Should I do another dab of blu-kote on them?

Well struggler is a girl for sure, but you can sex vent them That scab will fall off, it's normal. no need to blue kote unless its red around the scab, then clean and kote it.

Ok so it will be easier to tell once the scab is off? Right now I can't see anything! Struggler is a major snuggle bug!

Who are you going to rehome the rest with?

My mom wants a pair.. I'm trying to talk her into more bc I'll see them all the time there and they have land with small ponds . I have a friend who may want a house duck.. I have no idea as for the rest . I'm determined to find them homes where I can visit though!
