Shrink wrapped ducks?? What should I do?

I'm going to separate the bigger two from the others when I get home with them. I have these in a galvanized tub and I'm going to see what I have I can put the others In.. Unless I find something much bigger. I'm assuming a kiddie pool won't last them long.. They'll be able to get out soon?

They grow up so fast

I would separate...due to size and give them more room. Kiddie pool they will be able to hop out of shortly...they grow fast! I use a large plastic tub...maybe 4 ft long and 2 feet wide???? I put the heat lamp on one side and they can move from one side to the other depending on their temp/comfort level. The sides are high enough that they peek over, but do not hop out. Pretty sure I got mine at walmart cheep. easy to clean too...I just let the little quacklings roam and swim while I hose it out, dried and put new bedding down. That should hold them over until you are ready for them to be outside. Box with same idea would work also, but you would need plenty of bedding so it would aborb their poop

Where at Walmart? Is it like a plastic rubbermaid type bin?

Yep...simple but works for a temporary home until you can get them outside! Make sure your bedding is deep enough that they can't get to the slippery bottom...bad for their legs..and your set. EASY clean up too...too ease that anxiety with messy poop...LOL;)

Lol YES!! And the bigger they get the messier they are!

Oh crap how are we coming along!!

Three very easy and successful hatches! I'll try and get some pictures up later!

Number 4 struggled and eventually hatched, but he doesn't look too good... he's all fluffed up now but is very lopsided. His head keeps twisting to the right, and he doesn't seen to be able to use his right wing and leg. He's in ICU at the moment (snuggled in fleece, down my sweater!), where he seems very comfortable, so I'll see how he is tomorrow morning and take him to the vet if he hasn't improved :(

The other 3 are totally gorgeous and very lively though!
