whats the best way to regulate the temp in the brooder?  it seems to get a little too warm after a bit

Well in the winter time I cover mine with a blanket, you could do that in the summer time as well especially if the ac is on. But if it's TOOO hot, opening vents..

I'd sit it up on the table that's what I do mainly because of the dogs here. That may keep a toddler out. of course you may have to find other places to eat. it's just the 2 of us so we can eat anywhere. lol

I had it up on the table but I couldn't get the heat lamp far enough away from the top. It was getting too hot

Oh nooo I have a disease. It's the HD- the hatching disease, there's no cure, there's no shot for it, you can't take a pill for it and once it enters the body, it takes full control... It's also contagious...

Followed by CSHD which is can't stop hatching disease.. Lol

#5 & #7 both are wiggling their beaks.. opening and closing them quickly like theyre eating....the beaks are sticking out a good ways
