Shriveled egg yolks?

A couple customers complained that they had shriveled egg yolks? Does anyone know what could cause this? Has anyone heard of this. They are fresh eggs, never frozen, unless customers did it. They go straight into fridge and this is a recent complaint. Is it maybe older chickens? Any help Please. Carrrie

No, I've never heard of it. It seems strange - maybe they just don't understand how fresh eggs are supposed to look?

peafowl, I have seen a slight wrinkle in the tops of some of my eggs if they stay in the refrigerator for a long while. Maybe they are dehydrating in their ref. gloria Jean
