Shut eye

Hi all,
It's been a couple of days now since the roo in picture has his eye shut. He behaves normally and his other eye is fine. I notice a foam like liquid emerging from his eyelid. Any ideas?

Looks like pus in the eye.
Does he have any other symptoms like coughing, sneezing, mucous from the nostrils, what's the inside of his beak look like?

How long have you had him?

General care would be to flush the eye with saline, press out/remove the pus and apply an eye ointment like Terramycin or some use plain Neosporin. Do this 2-3 times a day.

Thanks, no other symptoms, he's 1yo leaving in a flock of 15, no other bird has similar issues.
