Hi, our chick is 3+ weeks old, and were hoping it’s a pullet, not a rooster. I looked at pictures online, and they show males as having a solid copper colored body with black tail, and females having speckled wings and back, with a buff head.
Ours has speckled wings and back, and the head is yellow with some black around the eyes (middle chick in photos.
I’m hoping someone who has raised Buttercups can tell me.
Many thanks!

This is our first time with Sicilian Buttercups and I think our 8 week old she is a he. Has a comb and wattles already. Started off looking just like a female though.
