Sick 4 mo old pekin

So excited!!!!!
We have hobbling
It was like watching my kids take there first steps.

She took three steps. She is trying so hard to stay up.

Thank you again Miss Lydia for all your help and caring.

It's funny the more I praise her and encourage her to walk it seems like the more she trys.

Tonight we are at Tiny Tim level hobbling
She is really trying hard.

Amazing what two vitamins can do for a debilitating problem like she had.

I really think the vit b complex and calcium gluconate is the right combo.

She may never walk perfectly but, once she strengthens that leg even more she should be able to keep up with the others.

Now if she can just work on that quack. I swear if we sex by sound only I'd say it's a boy. It's the quietest female ever.

I hope so. I'm hoping she wasn't a really really well hidden he. Dosent matter at this point will love it all the same.

I will post pics. We have the before you have to have the after.

Couldn't have done this with out all your support and help thank you.

There hasn't been much to update.
She has not been walking much. She can take about
5 steps before she has to sit down.

She is able to stand and flap her wings without falling over.

She's getting restless. She didn't want to soak tonight and tried to jump out of tub.
Yet when I put her on the floor she can only do a few steps. I feel bad for her.

Going to try to put her out tomorrow for a bit with the others. The duck run is huge and has flat ground.

Well that was a diaster.

As I brought her, probably him out no quaking but a lot of loud excited peeping. Way to old to peep.

Put her down she hobbled over to the group and immediately the oldest of that group, which is about 4 weeks Younger then her. Walks right up. Snapped at her, put her head and neck over angel's neck and pushed her to the ground and tried standing on her back.

It was liked she was crushed. She didn't even try to get up. I shooed her away. I backed off. Angel stood up and that one came back at her and did it again. End of outing.

It's breaking my heart seeing her like this. Her little leg so bent.

I may have to put her with hens until she can be strong enough to defend herself. Even my geese are kinder.
Is that normal duck behavior,. Cause I have never seen that before.

Should I just keep up the vit b and calcium ?
