Sick and Injured duck leg

Aww, have you culled already? If not, don't give up yet! The kind of vet you need is an AVIAN vet (or a poultry vet, but they are super specialized and hard to find). Please search for the nearest avian vet and keep us posted.

I found mine searching for exotic vets, then just called each one to see if they were experienced in ducks

Gulf coast is watching expensive. Paws to Claws on 149, Dr. Scott is an Avian vet. She has seen my duck and seems quite good. Gulf Coast requires a referral from another vet before they will see you.

Oh, my vet is the one that told me about gulf coast, so maybe that's the referral I needed. I haven't gone yet. I did call paws to claws and they told me they didn't see ducks. She's the one that told me about Shadybrook in Magnolia. I also tried the one over by Willis, and they said they don't see ducks either. I wonder if I just got a new person on the phone. I didn't ask the vet's name. I would rather go there, it's closer to me.

Weird. I take my ducks to Paws to Claws. Only Dr Scott sees Avian and she is out this week. I have been to Shadybrook as well but for special medicine for my cat. They wanted 100 just to see my duck. I took her to Dr Scott and total bill was 100. Call and ask for Terri or Marie Bushong. I can't believe they said they don't do ducks. I am happy to call them for you if you like. I have been going here for years and am upset they told you they don't do ducks.
