Last Wednesday I got 17 Japanese bantam biddies from cackle hatchery, but i've already lost 4, and I'm really worried, there's a grey one that's really weak acting, has been a few days, I've been taking good care of it, and I've gotten really attached....It's eating and drinking, having regular bowel movements and such...but it's really sleepy compared to the others, it perks up when I pick him up but then when I put it back in it's box it goes back to sleep, it went through this spell a few days back, but i gave it a little bit of gatorade and it started acting fine, now it's weak again, I don't know what to do, can someone give me some advice on how to wake it up? my mom says it's just spoiled, but I'm scared it has a sickness or something :/ I had 5 grey's, now there's only two left, are the grey's just weak? am I doing something wrong? My mottled and black tailed buff are all fine, perky and healthy, but the grey's keep dying..This one seems very friendly and cuddly, and I'm attached to it :/ I named it Sleepy..

they are in a plastic storage box, with a dog pad on the bottom with Corn Cob Pellets, I change it every few days, they are under a 60 watt light, eating crumble feed, and fresh room temperature water, I gave them some gatorade a few days back, the others seem healthy, except the grey....Any adviice is greatly appreciated! ;D

Anyone? ._. Bleh also it wakes up with I speak or tap on his box, and eats out of my hand, but it's soooooooo sleepy, only a few times a day will it be up scratching around..

No he's seems normal except he's soooo sleepy, it's all he wants to do is sleep, he eats, drinks, and does everything normal, just really sleepy.....

I read somewhere that boiled eggs help, is that true?

He seems to perk up when I hold it, it hops around and eats and drinks, it just ate a boiled egg yolk out of my hand, but when I set it back under the light in his box, he started acting sluggish and went back to sleep, like it couldn't keep it's balance..
