When you do get another chick try to get it close to the same age as your chick to avoid bullying occurring.

just checked the temperature and it's 82 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't think it's a temperature issue. The other healthy one isn't spending too much or little time under the light. It seems to be sitting under the heater then walks around happily.

I know this is an old thread, and I'm looking for other information.
However, 82deg F for brand new chicks seems quite low to me.
We put our newly-hatched chicks in 95F for the 1st week, then reduce by 5deg each week until we reach the ambient, or what suits the chicks.
