I have three grown chickens that live inside whom are fine. No panting, act like perfectly normal chickens other than the fact they wear diapers. I'm definitely not going to put it outide in the middle of winter, it has not been able to acclimate to the weather. I have two of her sisters bunking with her and they are not ill at all. Something is going on with the one baby.
