Hello, I’m afraid it’s already too late for this hen, she has just died. But I’m wanting to figure out what killed her. When I found her this morning sitting high up on her perch her neck and head were hanging down loose below the perch while her body was still sitting on the perch. I really don’t have any other symptoms, except that when I took her down she did feel very heavy. So I thought maybe she was egg bound? So I treated her like that, and soaked her in warm water a couple times with Epson salt. I’m just getting home from work now and found that she has just died. Does anyone have any ideas? She was perfectly fine yesterday.
