Hi ,
PLEASE HELP! This guy has been sick going on 3rd day. Eating little drinking none. He is sleeping a lot. When we wake him up he does stand and when he try’s to walk it’s like he’s drunk. Sticky clear mucus in mouth. No visible swelling near eyes no nasel discharge. He’s about 35-40 lbs. (guessing). He started this kneck “thing” today.

I have never seen this in my turkeys. The neck thing makes me wonder if it's a crop problem; possibly sour crop. I'd try antibiotics and any natural remedy that might help. I wish I had more to offer. Good luck.

That looks like wry neck or torticolis which can be a neurological condition in poultry with a head injury, vitamin E or thiamine deficiency, and is seen in some serious diseases that affect the brain. Usually, in other poultry it is treated with vitamin E and thiamine supplements in poultry NutriDrench. I don’t know anything about turkeys, if that can possibly be from a crop disorder, but I am tagging @casportpony and @R2elk and @oldhenlikesdogs for help.

I was thinking a vitamin deficiency. Treating with vitamin B complex in the water may help. The other possibility that occurred to me is botulism poisoning. The dehydration needs to be attended to immediately and could also be attributing to the poor ability to walk.

Poor turkey. And so close to Thanksgiving as well. I know what **I** would do, but I hope everything works out for you.
