sick broody hen

My black cochin hen went broody... I have many black hens that lay eggs in the same spot. I didnt know
this was the same hen sitting... That is what I have now but when I last looked she was breathing heavy and had
little bubbles around her eyes.... Any Ideas ?

Sounds more like a sick hen then a broody hen. I'd seperate her ASAP and bring her into the house (dog crate or..) so you can get a better idea of how much she is eating/drinking and what her stools look like. Bringing her in will let her conserve energy that she'd otherwise have to use to stay warm too.

no she has been sitting on these eggs for 2 wks.
Just today does she look and sound different.

I had a broody with those symptoms....I treated her with Tylan 50, 1/2 cc a day or 5 days......she's good as new!!
